Rik Ossenkoppele is a postdoctoral researcher at the Memory and Aging Center of the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his PhD at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His PhD research focused on PET imaging of amyloid and glucose metabolism and their relationships with cognition, clinical presentations and genetics. His current work integrates PET and MRI to explain clinical heterogeneity in Alzheimer's disease.
