Dr. Lenora Higginbotham is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Movement Disorders Division at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her medical school training at Emory and her neurology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She then returned to Emory for a two-year movement disorders fellowship before joining the division as a junior faculty member. Dr. Higginbotham has maintained an interest in neurodegenerative research since medical school and is currently focused on advancing protein biomarker discovery among parkinsonian disorders using advanced proteomics techniques.
