I am a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and Professor of Medicine in Neurology with expertise in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD), geographic health disparities, and cognitive and behavioral measurement. I am currently the Director of the Rural Brain Health Initiative and Clinical Core Co-Lead in the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) at the University of Washington (UW), which have synergistic goals of elucidating factors that increase risk and those that foster resilience to AD/ADRD in diverse populations.
