I obtained my Bachelor and Master degree in Molecular Biology in the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina in 2011. I continued my research training in the Med School of the National University of La Plata, Argentina, where in 2017 I obtained my PhD in Medical Sciences studying the molecular and biochemical basis of chronic inflammation. During the last year of my doctoral training I was awarded with an American fellowship to spend ten months performing part of my research at the University of North Carolina. After returning to Argentina and completing my PhD I moved back to the University of North Carolina where I’m currently performing my Postdoctoral training studying the genetic contributions to late onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
