Amanda Melin, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Departments of Anthropology & Archaeology and Medical Genetics at the University of Calgary, Canada. She studies the evolution, function, and diseases of sensory systems in primates, including humans, with a focus on the visual system.
