Dr. Alexa Pichet Binette obtained her master’s degree in clinical neuroscience at the Charité Universitätsmedizin, Berlin, Germany and her PhD in neuroscience at McGill University, Montreal, Canada under the supervision of Professor Sylvia Villeneuve. Her thesis focussed on identifying brain imaging and behavior changes related to preclinical Alzheimer’s disease. In 2021 she joined the Clinical Memory Research Unit at Lund University, Sweden where she will complete her postdoctoral training under the supervision of Professor Oskar Hansson. Her research uses multimodal neuroimaging techniques, fluid biomarkers and cognitive assessments to better understand disease progression.
