Jingyuan Chen, PhD, is an instructor and incoming assistant professor at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She earned her PhD from Stanford University with a major in electrical engineering and a minor in statistics. Her research program lies at the interface of biomedical engineering, signal processing, and neuroscience. The Chen Lab advances neuroimaging techniques and computational approaches to study the biophysical and molecular mechanisms underlying intrinsic brain activity, as well as the neurobiological consequences enacted by cognition, arousal, and disease.
