Dr. Hannah Youngblood graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Berry College in 2018. She then received her PhD in cellular biology and anatomy from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (2022) where she worked with Dr. Yutao Liu studying the effects of estrogen signaling on intraocular pressure and glaucoma risk. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the lab of Dr. Raquel Lieberman, where she studies the biochemistry and structural biology of proteins that contribute to glaucoma progression.
