Demetrios Vavvas, MD/PhD is Solman and Libe Friedman Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard and Associate Director of the Retina Service. Dr. Vavvas developed our method for treating intermediate AMD with high-dose statins. He has an SB degree from McGill University and earned his medical and doctorate degrees at Boston University.
