Christian Crouzet, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from UCI. As a PhD student, Dr. Crouzet received the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). He is funded by a TL-1 postdoctoral fellowship through UCI’s Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) funded through the National Institutes of Health under the Clinical and Translational Sciences Award (CTSA) program. Dr. Crouzet is a member of Tau Beta Pi, SPIE, and Optica. His current research uses his background in biomedical optics to measure cerebrovascular changes in neurodegenerative diseases and neurological injury.
