Carla Rothlin, PhD, is the Dorys McConnell Duberg Professor of Immunobiology and Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Rothlin co-directs a research program with Dr. Sourav Ghosh, who is the co-principal investigator of this project. Their laboratory has pioneered the understanding of the role of proteins such as AXL, a group known as receptor tyrosine kinases, in the clearance of dead cells and negative regulation of the inflammatory response.
