Dr. Bradley Hyman is a neurologist and a physician scientist at Harvard Medical School (HMS)/Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) with an active clinical practice and laboratory effort devoted to caring for patients with neurodegenerative diseases. His lab focuses on clinical-pathological correlations, developing models of human neurodegenerative disease and comparing them to human neuropathology, often applying advanced imaging techniques. He has participated in the MGH’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (MADRC) since 1989 and directed it since 2006. He currently serves on the NAPA Council and NIA Board of Scientific Counselors to provide insight into Alzheimer's disease-related national priorities. Dr. Hyman has trained over 65 fellows and postdoctoral fellows (with over 95% still in science).
